Pair join Knightcorp’s push to ‘redefine’ broking
Knightcorp has appointed Andrew Dawson as enterprise and specialty head and Craig Anderson as corporate manager.
The company says the pair will help “redefine how broking operates in a market that is quickly outgrowing traditional models”.
CEO Trent Brown adds most brokers are “optimising placements. We’re building a model that improves how businesses understand, manage and finance risk.
“Our focus is on aligning people, expertise and technology to deliver better outcomes for clients operating in more complex environments.”
Mr Dawson’s responsibility will span financial lines, people and workplace risk, and large, complex and multinational programs.
He was previously at Insurance House for seven years, finishing as GM for NSW, Queensland and financial lines. He has also worked at Marsh and Willis Towers Watson.
Mr Anderson, who was 2018’s young broker of the year, recently left Austbrokers after 11 years, finishing as divisional manager for SME, schemes and affinity.
He has also worked at Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers, Jardine Lloyd Thompson Australia and Marsh.
