Ocean Underwriting has launched a facility to support complex or hard-to-place liability risks, which often arise from higher-hazard occupations with unique exposures.

It says such risks require tailored solutions supported by highly disciplined underwriting.  

“[Our] complex risks liability product covers a broad range of occupations, which we invite brokers to explore on our website,” it says.

The underwriting agency, which launched in 2023, provides financial lines, cyber, property and liability insurance for Australian SMEs. 

“We’re excited to bring a dedicated complex risks facility to market,” head of liability James Tuitavuki said. 

“Many brokers see risks that fall outside standard appetites, and the CRL product allows us to work closely with them to find solutions for clients with more challenging insurance needs.”
