More than 1000 professionals took part in the National Insurance Brokers Association’s annual market survey, setting a new record, president Richard Klipin says.

The survey, conducted independently by NielsenIQ, asked association members to provide industry insights and detail attitudes to insurers and other partners.  

Mr Klipin says the response is “an extremely pleasing result”.  

“These record numbers show that our community is engaged, invested and committed to shaping the future of insurance broking,” he said.

“Their insights help us benchmark industry excellence and ensure that broker voices inform the recognition of insurers that are leading the way in delivering value to clients.”  

Survey feedback will help determine the winners of several NIBA awards including large general insurer of the year, specialty insurer of the year and underwriting agency of the year.  

Winners will be named at NIBA’s annual convention on the Gold Coast from October 19-21.
