Network principals gather to plan ‘continued success’

Steadfast says almost 200 broker principals attended a forum designed to strengthen bonds in its network.

The Queensland event was the first principals’ forum, feedback was positive and there is great interest in future opportunities, the company says.

CEO Robert Kelly says Steadfast was built on the belief that “none of us are as good as all of us”, and a commitment to providing support.

“By coming together, sharing our knowledge, problems, expectations and experiences, we ensure the continued success of our entire network,” he said.

Themes included the role of insurance brokers in the age of artificial intelligence.

Steadfast says the consensus among attendees was that while AI tools offer potential advantages in efficiency and intelligent solutions, they will not replace the human touch and intuition that brokers bring to client relationships.

The group’s tech modernisation, which includes AI, was discussed. The company says it is “continuing its technology evolution” with plans to build on Steadfast Apps to deliver a solution “built purely with the broker in mind”.

“Our goal is to simplify the entire insurance life cycle so brokers can focus on what matters most to their business – protecting their clients,” Mr Kelly said.
