Steadfast underwriting agencies brand Miramar Group has recruited Alan Tokeley to be its western region manager.

Mr Tokeley joins the recently launched commercial lines operation from Cowden Insurance Brokers, where he took over as CEO from founder Colin Cowden in 2021.

Before Cowden, he was AIG state manager for WA and NT for more than 15 years, and he also has experience with Ace Group and JLT Australia.

“This is an exciting time to be joining Miramar,” Mr Tokeley told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“It is a strong brand with great solutions, and I look forward to reconnecting with brokers in this new role.”

Miramar Group combines Steadfast’s Interruption Underwriting Agencies, Miramar, Quanta, PI Direct, Pint Underwriting, Platinum Placement Solutions and Procover.
