McLardy McShane Insurance Advisors has announced an equity partnership with West Rock Insurance Brokers, strengthening its Queensland presence.

West Rock, founded by Wesley Strong, has an 11-person team including offshore support and recently expanded its footprint with a new office in Mooloolaba.

Under the partnership, Mr Strong will continue to manage the business, with the West Rock name continuing to operate within the McLardy McShane network for the foreseeable future.

West Rock launched in 2019 with a strong agricultural focus and has since grown into a diversified brokerage with a significant portfolio, driven by innovation, strong client relationships and a willingness to take risks, the companies say. It has embraced technology to enhance efficiency, including implementing an online claims system and platforms to improve service delivery. 

Mr Strong chose to partner with McLardy McShane after exploring several network options.
