McLardy McShane push-up crew promise reps for Lifeline

A group of McLardy McShane executives have committed to performing thousands of push-ups to raise funds for Lifeline.

They are part of the “push up or shut up crew”, which has nine members: Don McLardy, Mike McShane, Richard Davies, Graham Strong, Nicholas Towns, Mark Walkley, Renato Dintinosante, Jackson Paine and team captain Tony Weston.

Each has committed to doing 3307 push-ups during the 24-day challenge – representing the number of lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2024.

They have so far raised $3946 and have collectively completed 1404 push-ups.

“We’re taking on the Push-Up Challenge and completing a heap of push-ups between June 3 and 26 to raise funds and awareness for mental health,” the team said. “Every dollar helps #pushforbetter mental health outcomes in Australia.”

Each year, Lifeline receives more than 1.3 million crisis support service contacts.
