Global broker Marsh says Marcus Piristi has joined as Pacific head of energy.

Mr Piristi, previously Aon’s client director for global and corporate, started the role this month based in Adelaide, according to his LinkedIn.

Marsh Pacific head of energy and power Jane Smith says Mr Piristi’s “extensive experience and energy sector knowledge ... will be a tremendous asset”.

She adds Marsh has reorganised the team under three pillars – Alex Cohen will lead power, Mr Piristi will oversee energy and Ross Hoy renewables.

“This strategic realignment sharpens our focus on the unique challenges and opportunities in each segment, delivering solutions that truly meet our clients’ needs,” Ms Smith said.
