Market Lane Insurance Group has appointed Bobby Major as head of its expanding specialty division.

Mr Major takes the role after three years with the partnerships and engagement team, where he was a business development manager across Australia and New Zealand.

“Bobby’s extensive industry knowledge, strong broker relationships and deep understanding of our business make him ideally positioned to lead the continued growth of ML Specialty,” the underwriting agency said.

ML Specialty focuses on niche insurance solutions for emerging exposures.

Core offerings include product contamination and SME product recall supported by separate binders and designed to serve different food and beverage industry segments.
