Jeremy Fergusson has been appointed CFO at New Zealand’s PIC Insurance Brokers.

Auckland-based Mr Fergusson was most recently Momentum Life CFO for three years, before which he was AIA head of financial control for four years and Tower Insurance head of finance for eight.

“Jeremy brings more than 25 years of financial leadership experience across the insurance and financial services sector, both in New Zealand and internationally,” PIC said.

“He has a strong track record leading complex finance operations and delivering meaningful improvements in financial management, processes and performance.

“Recognised for his forward‑looking approach, Jeremy is committed to leveraging technology and data to enhance client experience, strengthen transparency and support strategic growth. He will be a fantastic addition to our senior leadership team.”

The move comes after former AIA EGM Graeme Edwards joined PIC as COO last year.
