Centrewest announces chief exec departure
Perth-based Centrewest Insurance Brokers says CEO Scott Cole is leaving to pursue “a new professional opportunity”.
Mr Cole, who previously spent almost 15 years at Honan, joined Centrewest in late 2023.
“Scott has led the business through a period of significant transformation, and the board thanks him for his leadership, dedication and contribution to Centrewest, wishing him every success in his next chapter,” the company wrote on LinkedIn.
“The business continues to be led by its established executive leadership team, including Gavin Statham, Daniel Gaensler and Carly Hendon.
“Together, they provide experienced and consistent leadership across the organisation and remain committed to executing Centrewest’s strategic priorities.
“Centrewest looks forward to continuing to work closely with clients, authorised representatives and insurer partners as it progresses into its next phase.”
Mr Cole told insuranceNEWS.com.au he is not ready to outline his next move.
“The decision to step away from Centrewest follows careful consideration and reflects a deliberate next step professionally,” he said.
“It’s an exciting transition, though I’m not in a position to share details publicly just yet.”
