Aon New Zealand has appointed Amanda Yap-Choong as CFO.

The global broker says she will work with teams across New Zealand and Asia-Pacific to “enhance financial performance and governance, supporting collaboration across the business and building partnerships that support our clients”.

Ms Yap-Choong was most recently group performance management and finance strategy head at Westpac New Zealand, according to her LinkedIn.

She joined the bank in 2024 as head of finance strategy and execution after leaving the CFO role at insurer Southern Cross Benefits.
