TAL sets out academy timetable

The TAL Risk Academy has released details of its half-year education program.

Sessions include a client support webinar on Wednesday, followed by a professional development event on July 29.

The academy will host Financial Advice Association Australia policy, advocacy and standards GM Phil Anderson on July 23 to discuss how advisers can best comply with regulatory changes.

And TAL says October will be a “mini ethics month”, with two webinars covering dilemmas and risk, following the success of its ethics month in May, which had more than 2000 adviser enrolments.

It will also launch a monthly webinar series for service teams, focusing on strategies for effective client communication and ways to enhance administrative processes.

TAL national sales development manager Jason Bamford says the life insurer’s academy continues to deliver for advisers after a decade of programs.

“Advisers want content that’s relevant, practical and delivered by experienced professionals,” he said.

“Education is a core pillar of how we support advisers, and we’ve seen rising demand for high-quality training, particularly around ethics as the advice industry continues to evolve.”
