PPS Mutual has appointed Karena Cox as business development manager for its WA operations.  

The specialist life insurer says its new recruit will “focus on deepening strategic adviser relationships and expanding PPS Mutual’s accredited adviser network across the state”.  

Ms Cox joins after nearly a decade at AIA, where she was client development manager. She has also worked at HBF and Unified Healthcare Group.  

She will report to state manager for WA, SA and NT Steven Salter, who says her “genuine understanding of advisers’ priorities” make her a strong addition.  

“At a time when professionals are seeking insurance solutions that are more sustainable, transparent and aligned to long-term goals, her insight and connection to the local advice community will help strengthen support for our advisers and deliver meaningful value to members,” Mr Salter said.
