Financial Advice Association Australia has established a training centre to address the shortage of advisers.

The Advice Academy offers training modules designed by Kaplan Professional, mentor support, access to FAAA webinars and networking events.

Association CEO Sarah Abood says financial advice is an exciting, rewarding career and the academy showcases why it is important.

“Australia is preparing for the largest transfer of intergenerational wealth in history and financial advisers will play a critical role in supporting families to manage this.”

She says the academy provides valuable information for career changers and future advisers who want to see what a career in financial planning looks like.

“It explains why becoming a financial adviser is rewarding on many levels … as well as providing a simple and engaging five-step pathway for potential financial planners.”
