ALUCA reveals annual award winners
The Australasian Life Underwriting and Claims Association has named the winners of its annual excellence awards.
“When most people think of life insurance, they picture paperwork, policies and premiums, but what it really represents is peace of mind, protection, and promise brought to life daily by the people behind the scenes,” chair Joanne Faglioni said.
“We are proud to honour the individuals and organisations who continue to raise the bar and make a meaningful difference in the lives of Australians.”
TAL head of financial health Jo Hetherington received the life award for service to the association and the industry.
She is a former ALUCA board member and has been a key contributor to its workshops and education for more than a decade.
Association CEO Amanda McKernan says Ms Hetherington “embodies the very best of our industry – integrity, leadership and an unwavering commitment to the ongoing education of life insurance professionals.
