Swiss Re Life and Health Australia has appointed Annette King as a board member.

She joined last month after Philip Twyman stepped down.

Ms King holds non-executive directorships with the Actuaries Institute and global fintech FNZ. She is also chairman and co-founder of insurance technology company Galileo Platforms and was formerly CEO of Manulife Singapore.

“Her diverse experience in strategy, marketing, product management, finance, operations and risk management will complement the existing team well,” Chairman Jillian Broadbent said.
