Acenda Group has appointed Yvonne Le Bas and Karen Malzard as CFO and chief risk officer respectively.

The pair hold similar roles at Resolution Life Australasia and will move over after Acenda’s acquisition of the business is completed.

Acenda Group, formerly MLC, is owned by Nippon Life. The Japanese parent announced a deal to acquire Resolution Life, including its operations in Australia, last year.

The deal is expected to close in the second half of this year.
