Steadfast’s people chief to leave

Steadfast Group chief people officer Ferzana Yale will depart the business after 16 months in the role.

Ms Yale was previously chief people and culture officer at Direct Group, according to her LinkedIn, and held the same role at EML. Before that she worked as GM of organisation development at icare.

A Steadfast spokesperson told insuranceNEWS.com.au she has “advised of her intention to resign”.

“We fully support Ferzana in her decision and thank her for her valuable contribution to building and delivering the people strategy of Steadfast Group,” the spokesperson said.

GM of people, business partnering and operations Abby Taoube will lead the people team and report directly to Steadfast MD and CEO Robert Kelly.

Ms Taoube joined Steadfast in September last year, bringing more than 20 years’ senior HR and people leadership experience across the financial services industry.  

“Her deep expertise and proven leadership will provide continuity and confidence for our people operations during this period,” the spokesperson said.

“Steadfast remains committed to supporting its people and maintaining the strong culture that underpins the group’s success.”
