NIBA names Broker of the Year contenders

The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has named 13 regional finalists who are in the running to compete for the broking sector’s premier recognition, the Stephen Ball Memorial Award.

Five of the 13 finalists revealed today will be selected to compete for the top honour of Insurance Broker of the Year, with the 2020 winner crowned during this year’s NIBA Virtual Convention, to be held online from October 26-30.

The five regional winners are to be announced throughout September during weekly virtual award ceremonies each Wednesday.

“We are delighted to recognise brokers who demonstrate exemplary professionalism and excellence in broking practice, particularly during these challenging and uncertain times,” NIBA CEO Dallas Booth said.

The awards are sponsored by QBE and go to an individual broker deemed an inspirational role model for the broking community.
