Tasmania’s inconclusive election result leads discussions on the latest Insurance News podcast, after the Liberals promised during the campaign to introduce a new state insurer.

As previously reported, the party says the proposal would reduce premiums for households and small businesses, but insurers warn it poses a significant risk to taxpayers.

This week’s edition of INsight, hosted by Insurance News MD Andrew Silcox, features deputy editor Wendy Pugh and senior journalists Bernice Han and Miranda Maxwell.
