IAG brand guru heads to leading bank
Michelle Klein has left IAG for Westpac after two years as the insurer’s chief customer and marketing officer.
Sydney-based Ms Klein led IAG’s customer experience and marketing division from May 2023, overseeing the strategy for brands including NRMA Insurance, Rollin’, CGU and WFI.
At the time of her appointment, NRMA Insurance CEO Julie Batch said it was “a testament to the strength of IAG and our portfolio of brands to attract someone of [her] calibre”.
Ms Klein previously spent nine years at Facebook owner Meta, finishing as VP of global business and product marketing in Silicon Valley.
She has also worked at drinks group Diageo, British Airways, Orient Express and Armani.
“Michelle leaves a very strong [customer experience management] leadership and broader team and we wish her the very best in the future,” an IAG spokesperson told insuranceNEWS.com.au today.
