Aviso Specialty has confirmed a series of senior appointments after recruiting significant numbers of staff from rival brokerage Lockton.

Patrick Moore has been appointed GM of growth and client strategy, and Nick Turley becomes state executive for WA under the sweeping personnel changes announced by the Envest business today.

Steven Autrey is now head of care, community and mission, Stephen Kerridge is head of mining and resources, and Dean Currie is head of people risk solutions.

CEO Travis Kemp says the recruits boast relationship-led advisory capabilities, technical depth and experience navigating insurance markets for clients.

Aviso said: “These leaders bring extensive experience building and leading client-centric growth teams, having held department and business unit leadership roles.”

Sydney-based Mr Moore was most recently GM of growth and client strategy at Lockton, where he spent six years. Aviso says he is recognised as a trusted adviser and has experience leading sales, marketing, bid management, carrier engagement and strategy.

Mr Turley spent 14 years at Lockton, finishing as national manager for production in WA. Aviso says he is “highly regarded for supporting a diverse range of clients”.

Sydney-based Mr Autrey – who spent the past five years at Lockton – brings “deep technical capability and leadership experience”.

WA-based Mr Kerridge was Lockton head of resources for six years, and Sydney-based Mr Currie was at Lockton five years.

Dan Agostino and Peter Barron – who both spent 13 years at Lockton in Perth – have also joined Aviso as account directors.

Four broking leaders joined Lockton in December as the brokerage moved to replace departing staff.
