Aon veteran takes Lockton Pacific client role

David Gower has been appointed chief client officer for the Pacific region at Lockton.

In a note to staff seen by insuranceNEWS.com.au, Lockton Pacific CEO Marcus Pearson says Adelaide-based Mr Gower is a prominent, highly respected broker. He has been at Aon since 1980, most recently as SA director for global and corporate.

“David has developed deep and trusted client partnerships across a diverse range of industries,” Mr Pearson said. “He has acted as broker to many of Australia’s largest companies and organisations, cementing his reputation as one of the nation’s most respected advisers.

“At Lockton, David’s leadership, expertise and long-standing industry relationships will be vital as we continue to expand our footprint.”

Lockton has also promoted Jeff Williams to be Pacific head of claims, replacing Adam Squire, who takes a new operational specialist position.

Mr Squire will compete in the Sydney Marathon in August to raise funds for bone marrow transplant patients. He will run for his son Charlie, who has leukemia. Donate here.
