Andy Cornish, formerly IAG’s personal insurance COO and CEO, has joined Youi’s board.

Chair Peter Widdows says Mr Cornish’s experience “will be invaluable to a challenger brand like Youi as we seek to differentiate our products and services for customers who are looking for an alternative to the big insurers”.

Mr Cornish’s international experience includes leadership roles at RBS Group’s NIG Insurance and Direct Line Insurance, plus Zurich Insurance.

He has also served as chair and president of the Insurance Council of Australia.
