Simon Hoole will join Tower as interim chief financial officer on May 1, replacing Angus Shelton, who also held the role on a temporary basis.

Mr Hoole joins the New Zealand insurer from IT company Datacom, where he was group finance director.

He has also worked as CFO of Resolution Life and as a senior finance officer with AMP Group, including as CFO of AMP NZ.

Tower CEO Paul Johnston says the appointment will provide continuity while recruitment of a permanent CFO progresses.
