New Zealand mutual Medical Assurance Society says Jo McCauley will join as CEO on August 4.

Ms McCauley is currently CEO of Southern Cross Travel Insurance, based in Auckland. She took that role in January 2022, according to her LinkedIn.

MAS chair Brett Sutton said: “Jo brings a rare combination of leadership experience, commercial insight and strong people skills. 

“We are excited to work with Jo as we build on a strong FY25 result and invest further in technology and service enhancements for our members.”

Ms McCauley will take over from Suzanne Wolton, who took up the position in April last year.
