RACT names new chair
Keryn Nylander has been appointed president and chair of RACT’s board.
Alison Flakemore has stepped down from the roles after more than a decade.
Ms Nylander has held roles at Bank of Us, Aurora Energy, the Committee for Greater Hobart, and Tasmania JackJumpers. She has served on the board of RACT, Tasmania’s largest mutual organisation, for three years.
“Her extensive leadership experience and deep commitment to the Tasmanian community make her the ideal person to guide RACT into its next chapter,” CEO Mark Mugnaioni said.
RACT celebrated 100 years of service in 2023, and Ms Flakemore oversaw implementation after RACT’s acquisition of full ownership of RACT Insurance in 2021.
“Under her stewardship, RACT has strengthened its foundations and ensured it remains a truly local organisation, serving its 220,000 members with integrity and purpose,” Mr Mugnaioni said.
