QBE has appointed Patricia Priest as chief underwriting and transformation officer for its Australia and Pacific operations.  

Ms Priest, who has been with the business for five years, has been promoted from the role of commercial insurance GM.  

She previously held leadership positions at reinsurers Scor and Munich Re, and at NobleOak Life and Zurich.  

“I’m thrilled to be stepping into this role and to be working alongside such a talented and passionate team,” Ms Priest said.
