Premium funder appoints CEO

Commercial finance provider Dynamoney has recruited Wells Fargo executive Brett Thomas to be its new CEO.

The company, which provides lending solutions to SMEs for insurance premiums, credit lines and asset financing, says Mr Thomas joins following 50% growth in its loan book over the past year.

Mr Thomas spent 10 years at Wells Fargo, including four years as MD for its commercial distribution finance operations across Australia and New Zealand. He takes over from executive chairman Greg Woszczalski, who has been serving as interim CEO.

“Brett brings the expertise, leadership, and industry knowledge needed to ... guide the business through its next phase of growth,” Mr Woszczalski said.

“We see significant opportunities to further expand our breadth of clients, grow our lending footprint, and position our product offering to support even more Australian SMEs.”

Earlier this year, Dynamoney outlined its work on a new insurance product as it built on its premium funding services.
