Mobile plant and equipment specialist Level Underwriting started trading today, providing cover aimed at small to medium operators.

The agency is led by Ross Webster, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the Australian and UK markets, most recently as Mecon Insurance GM.

Level Underwriting says it aims to provide brokers with the tools to be effective, efficient and educated in mobile plant and equipment cover, with a new online portal allowing them to quote, bind and issue certificates in minutes. 

“We’re delighted to partner with the outstanding teams at Lloyd’s of London and Arch, providing exceptional capacity backed by local claims handling,” Mr Webster said.

The business, which has a focus on earthmoving equipment, is an authorised representative of underwriting agency investment and services company Iffinity.
