Motor, landlord and home and contents insurance sold under the brand of retailer Kogan Australia is now underwritten by Allianz.

The cover was underwritten by QBE from 2022 until June 15. Kogan is no longer offering compulsory third party insurance.

“Starting from June 16 2025, any new car, home and landlord insurance policies bought on our website will be provided by our new partner, Allianz,” Kogan says.  

The online retailer, which has about 3.6 million customers, also offers life insurance issued by Hannover Life Re of Australasia, pet insurance underwritten by Hollard, and travel insurance issued by Zurich.

Kogan added insurance to its financial services offerings in 2017, and Hollard had underwritten the home, motor and landlord covers before QBE.
