Law firms Gilchrist Connell and DAC Beachcroft have formed a strategic association to provide legal services for insurers, brokers and businesses in the Asia-Pacific region. 

They aim to combine the specialised insurance expertise of Australia-based Gilchrist Connell with the reach and range of international group DAC Beachcroft.

“This alliance allows us to offer our clients an unparalleled level of service and expertise, both locally and internationally,” Gilchrist Connell managing partner Richard Wood said.

DAC Beachcroft insurance head Helen Faulkner says it is an important agreement after her firm opened its second Asia-Pacific office in Hong Kong last September.

“Our alliance with Gilchrist Connell strengthens our ability to provide comprehensive global legal solutions to our clients in the insurance sector, especially in the Asia-Pacific region,” she said.
