Aon teams up with accounting service
Aon has partnered with accounting and payroll service firm Reckon to extend its range of insurance options to its customers.
The deal will enable Reckon customers to use Aon’s Australian-focused SME brokers for a range of personalised insurance options with full claims support offered by Reckon’s Customer Concierge.
Partner customers will also have access to a series of articles and webinars focused on risk mitigation and insurance solutions.
Reckon, which is headquartered in Sydney, offers a range of desktop and cloud-based accounting solutions primarily for small and medium-sized businesses. Over 600,000 businesses use its services across Australia and New Zealand.
Aon Affinity MD Lisa Henderson says the partnership aims to ease “the underserved needs of small business owners,” and give “clarity and confidence to make better decisions to protect and grow their businesses”.
“All small businesses can be affected by operational risks, and these can often have a big impact especially when also taking into account economic factors such as high interest rates and inflation,” Ms Henderson said.
“Making sure small businesses are adequately supported by the right insurance cover can help business owners focus on what they do best.”
