Allianz Australia has agreed a four-year “platinum partner” deal with the West Coast Eagles.

The insurer’s branding will feature on the AFL team’s guernseys, training gear, backdrops and stadium signage. The partnership also includes the AFLW and wheelchair teams.

“We’re excited to fly higher together with the West Coast Eagles, and to provide our fans and our customers with opportunities to cheer on the team,” Allianz MD Richard Feledy said. “We have big plans to work together to create programs that are accessible and supportive of the WA community.”

Allianz will support Foodbank WA as it provides Christmas food hampers to families in need, sponsoring 1000 packages for the Give A Feed appeal. Allianz staff will also volunteer with the scheme.

West Coast Eagles CEO Don Pyke says the team is “excited to join forces with the world’s leading insurance brand”.
