Former Arag Australia CEO Natasha Gale has been appointed head of Acerta, the intermediated division of Guild. 

Acerta says Ms Gale will start with the business on September 22. 

“At Acerta, Natasha will work closely with our team and our broker partners to drive growth and build on our digital-first capability,” the company said on LinkedIn. 

Ms Gale had previously worked as an executive consultant with Market Lane Insurance Group. She joined the group in October last year on a contractual basis after Arag exited the market a few months earlier in July. 

Her prior experience includes stints at Wesfarmers Insurance as head of distribution and at Hunter Premium Funding as business development manager. 

Acerta says Ms Gale brings more than 25 years of “leading specialist insurance businesses, underwriting agencies and commercial operations across Australia and New Zealand” to the company. 

Ms Gale says she’s looking forward to getting back into the insurance market. 

“Acerta is doing some really interesting things – combining specialist insurance expertise with a digital-first approach and a strong focus on broker relationships and growth,” she said.
