Young Insurance Professionals Victoria will host an ‘Insurance in the age of AI’ event in Melbourne on Thursday October 15, featuring networking, drinks and canapes. 

The evening event, in partnership with Insurtech Australia, will include a panel discussion speculating what insurance could look like in a decade's time, and what it means for those building careers. 

“We'll unpack how these trends are shaping the future of the industry from a variety of perspectives, including experts from broking, underwriting, claims, premium funding and insurance technology,” YIPs says. 

AI is changing the way insurance works “faster than most of us expected,” it adds. 

“What happens when your next insurance customer isn't a person, but an AI agent? It sounds like science fiction, but the insurance industry is already grappling with questions that would have seemed impossible just a few years ago.”
