Leading experts from the nation’s largest insurers will join a full-day technology event organised by Insurance News in partnership with Insurtech Australia.

Beyond the Buzzwords takes place on July 30 in Sydney and brings together a range of specialists to address some of the industry’s most critical issues. It’s a hybrid event that can be attended in person or watched remotely. Early bird and live stream tickets are available here.

Insurance Council of Australia counter-fraud CEO Andrew Gill will discuss emerging threats from digital and AI, Marsh head of digital trading for the Pacific region Mark de Hosson will debate “build or buy” with Kanopi CEO Nigel Fellowes-Freeman, and Steadfast CTO David Gillespie will explore broker-insurer interactions. 

Curium CEO Tetiana George and Compliance Advocacy Solutions MD Paul Muir will discuss compliance and risk reduction, QBE group head of catastrophe research Joanna Aldridge will tackle data and analytics in cat modelling, and Sedgwick EGM of professional services Kimberley Daley will look at claims acceleration.
