NZI adds ‘respected, proven’ managers
Kent Chaplin and Troy Sexton have been appointed to IAG subsidiary NZI’s property and liability team.
Mr Chaplin will be head of liability from September. He was most recently Delta Insurance Group CEO and previously spent 15 years at Lloyd’s in London and Singapore, finishing as Asia-Pacific CEO.
Mr Sexton will take the newly created role of EM for portfolio performance and strategy from next week. He has been Everest Insurance’s head of property in Asia-Pacific for three years and formerly spent 18 years at Chubb/Ace, and several at AIG.
“These two significant appointments for NZI are a strong signal of our commitment to investing in the people and the expertise needed to support brokers and customers for the long term,” the New Zealand insurer’s EGM Garry Taylor said.
“Troy and Kent are highly respected insurance leaders with proven leadership and extensive industry experience.”
