Gallagher says David Cook, who left the business in 2023, has returned as claims manager. 

“As claims manager, claims advocacy, David facilitates the settlement of complex claims using creative solutions,” the broker said in a LinkedIn post.

Mr Cook was most recently insurance manager with Rheinmetall Defence Australia, a supplier to the Australian military.

He joined Rheinmetall in January last year after leaving his role as Gallagher corporate claims manager, according to his LinkedIn.

Mr Cook started his new role in June and is based in Brisbane.
