A certificate and advanced certificate in claims consulting will be launched for experts and service providers in the insurance space.  

The Association of Insurance Building & Engineering Consultants will develop the courses with the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.

A launch event is planned for November 13 in Melbourne.  

AiBEC says it is a “significant and major advancement in the evolution of the training and standards for all external consultants and experts in the insurance industry”.

It is seeking members for a committee that would review course content and finalise modules.

AiBEC says it is also talking with the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters about education collaboration.
