The Australasian Professional Indemnity Group will hold its annual conference in Sydney on September 4 as it marks its 30th anniversary.

Directors’ and officers’ insurance specialist Kevin LaCroix will be a keynote speaker and Federal Court judge Ian Jackman will discuss artificial intelligence and blockchain technology in insurance litigation.

Aon professional indemnity practice leader Katya Lando and Axa XL product leader Mark Thorpe will speak on understanding construction clients’ needs.

Finity Consulting principal Susie Amos will also address the conference and two panel sessions will be held on class actions and acquisitions.

The program is still being finalised and APIG says an award-winning keynote speaker and TEDx presenter is yet to be announced.

The conference at the Sydney Wentworth will be followed by a gala dinner.
