The QBE Foundation will give $125,000 to its community partners and the Sydney Swans Foundation following this year’s Goals for Good event.

The sum equates to $5000 pledged for each of the 12 goals scored by QBE’s partner AFL team against the GWS Giants on Sunday, plus $65,000 in other donations.  

The partner groups are Save The Children Australia, the Stars Foundation, the Australian Red Cross, R U OK? and the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, plus the Sydney Swans Foundation.  

QBE Foundation co-chair Chris Esson says the initiative provides “a fun and meaningful way for QBE to support its community partners.

“Our nearly 40-year partnership with the Sydney Swans has allowed us to make a real difference in the communities and causes that matter to both our organisations.”
