Brisbane insurtech UpSure has launched Instant Quote, which it says is a fast, automated broking service built for technology companies.

The tool integrates with cyber specialist CFC Underwriting, offering quick access to CFC’s packaged professional indemnity, cyber, management liability and affirmative AI cover.

Companies answer a short set of underwriting questions and move to a quote in minutes.

UpSure founder Andrew Birt says making high-quality insurance faster, easier and more relevant for start-ups and scale-ups “has always been the vision”.

Mr Birt also founded AI platform Cova, which built Instant Quote for UpSure and CFC.

“It has been a great collaboration across the Cova team and CFC to get this live – what we believe is the first instant quote tech package in Australia,” he said.

CFC MD for Australia Anita Lane says the collaboration expands access to high-quality technology cover.

“Combining seamless digital distribution with specialist underwriting expertise, we’re making it easier for start-ups and scale-ups to get the protection they need with confidence,” she said.

Businesses with more complex operations, overseas exposures, unusual contracts, higher limits or nuanced risk profiles can still use UpSure’s broker-led Detailed Quote service.
