UAA distribution manager to ‘make broker interactions count’

Underwriting Agencies of Australia has appointed Con Stoitsis as distribution manager – a role created to “elevate” broker engagement and sales across the UAA and Mecon brands.

The Steadfast-backed business says the new job adds leadership depth to the distribution function. Mr Stoitsis will lead the team of state-based UAA and Mecon business development managers, and he reports to EGM distribution strategy Marc Crossman.

“Acting as the link between strategic intent and field execution, [Mr Stoitsis] will ensure alignment of activity with commercial priorities, partnering closely with underwriting, claims and brand to deliver a consistent and customer-focused market presence,” the agency said.

Mr Stoitsis was most recently Steadfast Underwriting Agencies Holdings national business manager, according to his LinkedIn.

He says his focus is on “clearing roadblocks, backing our BDMs and making every broker interaction count. We’ll tailor our approach to each brokerage and bring a fresh, objective lens to lift relationships.”
