Underwriting Agencies of Australia has appointed Daniel Joiner as GM for its WA business.

Mr Joiner will oversee Mecon Insurance and UAA underwriting operations in the state. He was most recently Mecon Insurance national operations manager.

“Daniel has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of [the] WA business … His leadership, industry knowledge and broker relationships have been instrumental in driving performance and strengthening our market presence,” UAA said on LinkedIn.

“This expanded role reflects UAA Group’s continued focus on strengthening leadership and execution in WA, with Daniel now guiding the implementation of our strategy and overseeing operational delivery across both Mecon and Underwriting Agencies of Australia.”

Mr Joiner will be supported by WA business development manager Vasko Suleski and the operations teams.

“Together, they will continue to build momentum in the WA market and deliver strong outcomes for our broker partners and clients,” UAA said.
