McLardy McShane has extended its spell as the official insurance adviser partner for AFL club Melbourne Demons.  

The broker began the partnership in 2023, as co-founders Don McLardy and Mike McShane embraced their deep connections with the club.  

Mr McLardy previously served as president of Melbourne, while Mr McShane is a “foundation hero” for the team.  

“We have loved partnering with Melbourne footy club, we’ve seen some great benefit in jumping on board over the past two years and we’re confident that positivity will continue into the 2025 and 2026 seasons,” Mr McLardy said.

“It’s always a source of great pride and excitement seeing the McLardy McShane logo dotted around the MCG at Demons home games.”  

Melbourne chief commercial officer Chris Kearon thanked the pair for their contributions.  

“Don McLardy and Mike McShane have been patrons of the club for many years, and we are thrilled to continue to build our relationship with this renewal,” Mr Kearon said.  

“Importantly, they have been strong supporters of the club’s charity partners, having raised over $4 million for organisations including FightMND and the Reach Foundation.”
