Lockton adds Wellington to growing NZ presence
Lockton has expanded its New Zealand operations, opening an office in Wellington.
The global broker already has branches in Auckland, Hamilton, Christchurch and Queenstown – the latter opening in July.
“This expansion [in Wellington] reflects our commitment to investing in New Zealand, extending our footprint throughout the country, and bringing more high-quality, experienced associates into our business to deepen the expertise and capabilities we offer clients nationwide,” NZ CEO Craig Buckle said.
GM Felix Ukaegbu will lead the Wellington office. He was previously Marsh chief client officer for risk management.
Joining him is James Earwaker, who has been appointed client director for financial lines. Mr Earwaker was most recently WTW Wellington and Central manager for financial, executive and professional risks, according to his LinkedIn.
“Together, they bring deep market knowledge, strong client relationships and a proven track record of delivering strategic risk advice to organisations across the region,” Lockton said.
