Javln buys Australian business after $6 million capital raise
Insurance software group Javln has acquired organiseit, an Australian document management system provider.
The New Zealand insurtech made the purchase after announcing in October that it had raised $6 million to fund its growth strategy, including expanding its Australian presence.
Javln says combining organiseit’s customer base with its suite of cloud-based solutions will create “strong operational and technological synergies”.
The Australian company’s clients include Insurance House and Underwriting Agencies of Australia, according to its website.
“We are delighted to welcome the talented organiseit team and their partners into the Javln family, to support our core mission: to help insurance brokers, agencies and underwriters evolve into superpowered risk advisers,” Javln CEO David Leach said.
“We will achieve this by providing them with a digital ecosystem that is easy to use, inherently secure and compliance-friendly.”
