Honan promotes strata specialist

Honan has appointed Luke Hsu as strata lead for broking and placement.

Mr Hsu previously served as the broker’s national head of sales for strata and real estate products. He has been with Honan since 2009 in roles including national business development manager and manager of corporate real estate practices.

“With over a decade of experience in the strata team, Luke brings a wealth of knowledge to this position,” a spokesperson said.

As well, Lea Mac has been appointed as the head of strata - growth and strategy. She has been a significant contributor in the business since 2020 and in the new role will focus on developing and executing the growth strategy for the strata practice, the business says.

The two appointments will oversee the businesses' national operations in the strata practice.

Honan was bought by broking giant Marsh for $700 million last December.

Earlier this month, insuranceNEWS.com.au reported that former Honan CEO Andrew Fluitsma, who took a role at Marsh, had left the company.
